- 2009 focus
Put in a brand new battery and starter and the car wouldn’t work.
Jump a line between the two power pins on the relay and the car started.
I know the ignition switch on these focus sucks so I dismantled the steering column covers and pulled the ignition switch out, put a flat head in it, and twisted it(with the key still in the barrel) and I can hear the starter relay click but it clicks like every two seconds if I hold the ignition switch in the start position.
I have swapped the relay with almost every relay in the fuse box and they all click.
If anyone could help me troubleshoot or has an idea of what’s wrong please let me know.
