Cabin heat unbearable

Hi guys, my Focus becomes very hot in the cabon during summer time. Fan blows hot air into cabin. This model does not have a heater valve one can replace as most people advised I should do. Could it be a faulty thermostat.the deiver side of centre console becomes very hot which confirms for me that only hot water is circulating throught heater matrix.
