I've owned both an 05 Focus ZX4 SE and 13 Focus ST and both have been great cars. I didn't have any issues with the build quality. On my ST however I have had both the transmission and turbo replaced before 5K miles. Since then I have just over 40K on the car and no issues.

I had the gauges go out on my second '05, first '05 was problem free. So far everything on my new RS has been great.

Mine is an 01 tht is 325k old. Wrecked it once on 2012 was 225k at the time, rebuilt it and moded it a bit. Brought it to the states and this will be my second mtx-75 tranny. The psynchros are on the way out. I feel for a car that is daily driven, autocrossed, scca drive nights has been an excellent little car.
