Help , changed bulb in interior light now won’t turn off

Hi, made an error I think and while trying to change the bulb I managed to pull the lens with switch off the interior light , now light stays on all the time , I’ve checked switch is set to middle but onoy way to turn off is manually .
when I start engine bulb dims just very slightly .
anyone had an issue like this ? HELP !
