intermitant starting problems

Have an 09 Focus, Auto that sometimes will not start unless you giggle the key or try several times shutting off and on again, Turning on the key all accessories come on. The problem seems to be getting worse as time goes on......Thanks Brian

Sounds like you could possibly have a bad ignition cylinder. Its a common problem with the first gen Focus.

I had this happen to my 02 Focus as well. It got to a point to where it wouldn't even turn on at all. Not sure if this applies to the MK2 Focus though. Hopefully it doesn't since that is what I have now lol. Have you tried using your other key to see if it produces the same results?
