Called Phase 1, the kit features a selection of easy first-off modifications to further improve induction noise and performance, provide shorter gear-shifts and reduce the engine movement. The kit will also feature some interior and exterior personalisation. The list of upgrades include hoses and roll restrictors, a high flow air filter, a set of lightweight 19-inch OZ wheels which are 1.5kg lighter than the OE forged rims, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres and Quaife front-mounted limited-slip differential.
You can also buy a 'Dynamic Side Splash' stickers for the sills, Mountune floor mats and a yellow gearknob. These parts have been extensively tested at the Nürburgring, to ensure perfect fitment, function and reliability. The tuner didn't share any details regarding the power and torque improvements, but we can expect a significant boost much like just like they did with the Ford’s Fiesta and Focus ST models.
The full Mountune Mk3 Focus RS kit will be revealed soon, as well as the pricing and performance details, while the kit will be backed by Ford’s 3 years/100,000km warranty when fitted from new.
