Not a mechanics type of guy but need some help on a project

I have a 2013 Ford Focus SE Hatchback USA model and i have had the car for about 3 years now and i really love the car. I dont really wanna drop the money on an ST cause my car is fully paid off, but i want an st. Does anyone know how or can direct me via link on how to drop a Focus ST engine in the car. I also had a couple other questions to.

1. Do i have to convert to manual transmission? I have no problem with the idea but i prefer the automatic.
2. My car has that defect where is constantly slips, knocks, and shutters. Will my car keep having that issue after the rebuild?

With the ST getting cheaper it's almost better to pick up a used one then to do a swap. But its been done before by Mike from https://rebeldevilpower.com/

1. Yes you will need to swap the tranny and ECU.
2. Yes swapping out the motor should address that.
