Stereo swap from 2012 to 2017...

So I have happened accross a 2012 Ford Focus SE that has been in a front end colistion and written off. I have purchased it for $200 just so i can have the alloy rims to put winter tires on my 2017 SE. To my amazement, the car still turns on and other than the engine not turning over, though the starter tries, all electrical works. This 2012 also has the big 8 inch touch screen which the radio works great. My question... can the stereo and large touch screen be pulled out and put into my 2017? Externaly the shape of everything looks good, but I wonder about the wireing.

Probably is possible, considering you have a car with all of the parts. Here is an upgrade on a 2015...

Assuming I can take the "add on" wire harness out of the 2012... I guess I would only need to go to ford and get the OBD flashed. Thanks for the video.
